Ponderosa sits on over 80 acres of mountaintop property and on the banks of Mentone's Little River, which runs all the way to DeSoto Falls. Ponderosa has six traditional rustic outdoor cabins with bathrooms and shower rooms (no hiking to a bathhouse). 

On-site accommodations include 8 bunk cabins, with a minimum occupancy of 8 people per cabin, separated by gender. To help us manage energy costs and keep your rental fees low, we kindly ask that groups consolidate into as few cabins as possible per gender. 

We can accommodate up to 130 guests.

We have a swimming pool, gymnasium, dining hall, a climate-controlled indoor chapel with a stage and seating for 200, an outdoor chapel, archery/riflery area, hiking trails, zip line, beach volleyball, large ball field for outdoor games, and a beautiful riverfront with canoes, kayaks, and a rope swing.
